Scubaspa Zen brings our distinctive approach to diving, wellness and hospitality to Indonesia. Inspired by the country’s rich maritime heritage and a shared passion for exploring its remarkable waters, we welcome divers, non-divers and curious travelers alike. From vibrant marine life and remote islands to local cultures and traditions, we believe discovering Indonesia means experiencing the richness of both land and sea.
In 2022, Scubaspa expanded beyond the Maldives with the launch of Zen, bringing our signature concept to the Indonesian archipelago for the first time. Hand-built in the traditional Indonesian phinisi style, Zen was created to embrace the character of the region while introducing a different way to experience its extraordinary destinations.
Indonesia opened up a world of possibilities. From the renowned reefs of Raja Ampat and Komodo to remote islands and lesser-explored waters, Zen gave us the freedom to develop new itineraries, discover the diverse cultures and traditions found throughout the archipelago, and bring our guests closer to the remarkable richness of the Coral Triangle.
Today, that same spirit of curiosity and creativity drives us. Beyond exploring new destinations, we refine the details of life on board, introduce new experiences, and find thoughtful ways to bring guests closer to the places we visit. It’s this willingness to think differently and keep evolving that shapes the Scubaspa experience in Indonesia.

Life aboard Zen is shaped by many hands, each bringing their own skills, experience, and personality. From the warmth of our Indonesian hospitality team to the expertise of our dive guides, spa therapists, and chefs, there’s a genuine sense of collaboration that carries through everything we do.
And the team extends well beyond those you meet on board. From engineers and operations teams to reservations and guest support, the team members working behind the scenes play an important part in making each cruise possible. Through ongoing training, shared knowledge, and opportunities to grow within Scubaspa, we continue to learn from one another and take pride in what we create together. It’s this collective dedication that gives Zen her character and makes every stay feel personal.
Zen’s green battery system reduces the need to run generators for extended periods, helping lower fuel consumption, noise, and vibration. At anchor, it creates a quieter atmosphere on board, allowing guests to enjoy more of the natural surroundings.
