Diving details
The Deep South itinerary features drift dives through high-current channels, reef corners, and submerged pinnacles across the southern atolls. Diving conditions are best suited for intermediate to advanced divers with prior drift diving experience. Expect stronger currents, deeper profiles averaging 20–30 meters, and frequent blue-water entries in search of pelagic encounters. Dive sites are selected daily based on tides and conditions to maximize opportunities for sightings of tiger sharks, hammerheads, grey reef sharks, eagle rays, manta rays, and large schools of fish.
The Deep South itinerary explores the remote atolls of Huvadhoo and Fuvahmulah, renowned for their thrilling channel dives and abundant pelagic life. Dive sites may include Vilingili Kandu, Koodhoo Kandu, Nilandhoo Kandu, Mareehaa Kandu, and the world-famous Fuvahmulah, where encounters with tiger sharks are a signature highlight. Depending on tides and seasonal conditions, divers can also expect opportunities to see hammerheads, grey reef sharks, manta rays, eagle rays, and large schools of fish throughout the journey.

Everything you need to know before setting sail
Can I request a specific cabin or bed configuration?
Yes, let us know your preference when booking and we will do our best to accommodate it, subject to availability. Some suites offer twin bed options in place of a king bed.
What is the difference between the cabin categories?
Manta and Dolphin Suites sit on the main deck with king or queen beds and panoramic oval windows. The Cowrie Suite is a deluxe bow cabin with a queen bed and sofa bed. Sea Star Suites are on the lower deck with queen beds and portlights. All cabins include an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and ocean views.
What is the difference between Yin and Yang?
Yin and Yang are our two sister liveaboards, identical in layout and service. Yin and Yang refers to the balance of adventure (diving) and relaxation (spa) that defines every cruise.
How many dives are offered during a cruise?
Most itineraries include up to 3–4 dives per day, including a night dive option, across a 7-night cruise.
Which marine life can I expect to see?
Expect encounters with manta rays, whale sharks (seasonal), reef sharks, turtles, and vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, depending on the route and season.
