Scubaspa was created around a simple idea: that exceptional diving and genuine comfort should be part of the same holiday. Today, our award-winning liveaboards bring together diving, spa and wellness, thoughtful hospitality and the freedom to enjoy the Maldives in your own way. Welcoming divers, non-divers and everyone in between, we believe the experience above the water should be just as rewarding as what lies beneath.

Scubaspa began in 2013 with the launch of Yin, bringing a fresh approach to liveaboard holidays in the Maldives. Built around a passion for diving and wellness, the concept grew with the arrival of her sister yacht, Yang, in 2014.
Since then, we’ve continued to evolve, guided by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to do things differently. From developing new routes and exploring lesser-visited atolls to introducing experiences that go beyond traditional diving holidays, we’re always looking for new ways to enrich what we offer.
More than a decade later, that spirit of curiosity remains at the heart of Scubaspa, inspiring us to keep exploring, creating, and looking ahead.
More Than a Crew
What makes Scubaspa special goes far beyond the experience itself. Some team members have been with us for years, others bring fresh perspectives, but all share a genuine passion for what they do. It’s the familiar faces, laughter, friendships and thoughtful gestures that create such a welcoming atmosphere on board.
From dive guides, spa therapists and hospitality teams to engineers, reservations and those working behind the scenes, every role contributes to the Scubaspa spirit. Different backgrounds, cultures and talents come together through a shared sense of pride and dedication. They are the heart of Scubaspa.

Wastewater is treated through dedicated sewage treatment systems installed on both Yin and Yang. Reducing waste starts with what we bring on board. Our mineralized water systems provide drinking water without relying on single-use plastic bottles, while reusable alternatives replace disposable items. We continue to look for ways to reduce, reuse, and avoid waste across our onboard operations.
We also support Parley’s ocean initiatives and participate in their recycling programs.
